For more than 30 years Hong Kong has been my home — including over 25 years living on Cheung Chau, a small former fishing island of around 25,000 people just 35 to 55 minutes from Central by ferry. Before becoming a private guide, I spent over 35 years working as a chef, so food, markets, seafood instincts and neighbourhood eateries are naturally woven into how I show you the city. What began informally — showing visiting friends the city I love, from harbour crossings and neighbourhood backstreets to food stops, viewpoints and everyday local life — gradually turned into private guiding. I still approach it in that same spirit: personal, warm, practical and shaped around the kind of day you actually want.
On me, on every tour: bottled water, plus all MTR, Ding Ding tram and Star Ferry rides during our day together — so you never fish for coins while sightseeing. On the Island Hopping day, all ferry tickets are included too. (Peak Tram, Airport Express and taxis are not included — but I will always tell you honestly when a taxi is the smarter option for a stretch.)
