Most visitors sleep in Kowloon and commute to the Island — a mistake. Kowloon is where Hong Kong shops, eats and haggles. This four-hour walk shows you the side of the city that never makes the postcards.
Pickup: Your Kowloon hotel lobby, West Kowloon high-speed rail station, or the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal (I always carry cash for your first hours — there's no ATM at Kai Tak, and I know every decent toilet in the district).

- 09:20 · Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront and the Avenue of Stars — the classic skyline panorama
- 10:00 · Backstreets of Jordan and Yau Ma Tei: the wholesale fruit market (working since 1913) and the jade market
- 11:00 · Ladies' Market and the sneaker-street alleys of Mong Kok — haggling coaching included
- 12:00 · Temple Street by day: fortune tellers, Cantonese opera corners and the district's hidden history
- 12:45 · Finish with a local milk tea and my personal eating map for the rest of your stay
