Each day builds on the last — no repeated ground, each evening's tips feeding the next morning's route. And you get the thing day-trippers never get: a guide who actually knows you by day two.
How a multi-day programme flows
- Day 1 — The City: Peak, historic Central, Man Mo, Tai Kwun, Star Ferry, Kowloon markets (the classic orientation)
- Day 2 — Lantau: Tai O fishing village first, Big Buddha after the crowds, monastery lunch
- Day 3 — The Islands: Cheung Chau (my home), Peng Chau, ferry decks and seafood
- Day 4 — Deep Kowloon & New Territories: Wong Tai Sin, Chi Lin Nunnery, walled villages, wet markets
- Day 5 — Your call: hiking, food deep-dive, photography, the nostalgia circuit — whatever captured you most

per 8-hour day · up to 4 guestsAll prices are for a private group of up to 4 guests; each additional guest HK$400 (≈ US$50 · €45). Children under 17 join free on private family tours. Cruise-ship days, public holidays and special transport arrangements are quoted separately. On me: bottled water, plus MTR, Ding Ding tram and Star Ferry rides during the tour (Airport Express not included). Other transport, admissions and meals are paid on the day — you only pay for what you actually use. And at the end of the day: if time permits, I'll happily bring you back to your hotel myself — and if not, I always make sure you know exactly how to get home: I'll talk to the taxi driver for you, help you book an Uber, or walk you through the public transport route before we say goodbye. In accordance with Hong Kong law (Cap. 634), confirmed bookings are handled through a licensed Hong Kong travel agent.
